Shipping policy

Our policies and procedures relating to the shipping and delivery of the Product(s) are set out in this section (for details refer Customer Contract):

  1. We deliver to the UAE locations i.e. Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman.
  2. Deliveries are typically made between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday to Sunday.
  3. We will arrange for the Product(s) you purchase to be delivered to the delivery address you specify during the checkout process.
  4. We will use reasonable endeavours to deliver the Product(s) on or before the date for delivery set out in the order confirmation.
  5. Delivery charges will be added to the online orders paid by debit or credit card.
  6. Delivery charges are available on our Website and dependent on the Products size, quantity and delivery location {adjust post discussion with Bilal).
  7. Free delivery may be offered on certain orders based on promotions or order value.
  8. Standard delivery is typically between 3 to 5 calendar days from the date of order confirmation, depending on availability and location, unless there are exceptional circumstances (refer section 19 Force Majeure of the customer contract).
  9. For Dukaanwala to arrange to deliver the Product(s) that you have purchased to you, you shall be solely responsible for providing the correct and accurate postal details (e.g. gate codes or special access instructions).
  10. It is also the customers’ responsibility to ensure that they are available at the location at the agreed day and time.
  11. In the event that there is misinformation on the part of the customer regarding address and location or no one is available to accept the Products(s) from your end, or any other reason beyond our control, Dukaanwala will not be responsible for any delays in the delivery. In this case, delivery charges will be non-refundable, and an additional fee will be charged for re-delivery.
  12. Upon delivery, if the product is damaged in a way that was not disclosed in the product description or photos on our website, or if it does not match the advertised item, please contact our customer support team immediately at the time of delivery and prior to your signature confirming satisfactory receipt and acceptance. We will either arrange a refund or rectify the problem. Additionally, if you receive an incorrect product, similarly contact our customer support team so we can arrange for the re-delivery of the correct product.
  13. Please note that unless otherwise stated on the Website, delivery dates are just estimates. They are not guaranteed delivery times and may differ despite our best efforts.
  14. Our Installation Services include:
    1. Included installation
      1. For certain furniture items (e.g., tables, beds, wardrobes), installation services are included in the delivery charge.
      2. Logistics Team will assemble and install the furniture at the location of your choice within the delivery area.
    2. Installation Process
      1. Trained installers will unpack, assemble, and set up the furniture at your designated location.
      2. Please ensure that the space is clear and accessible for easy assembly and installation.
      3. If the product requires additional tools or setup (e.g., electrical connections), please ensure these are available for installation.
    3. Additional Charges for Installation
      1. For complex installations or items that require special handling, additional charges may apply.
      2. Our team will inform you in advance if there are any extra costs involved in installation.
  15. Once installation is completed and the customer has signed off on the product and its setup, Dukaanwala will no longer be responsible for any changes to the installation, or any damage caused by misuse or customer alterations.
  16. Where we are unable to carry out a delivery or are unable to complete any services (e.g. installation) for any reason which is beyond our reasonable control in accordance with clause 19 (Force Majeure, refer customer contract), Dukaanwala reserves the right to reschedule deliveries or installations, we shall attempt to notify you at the earliest opportunity to agree a solution.
  17. We reserve the right to terminate any order and to suspend or terminate your delivery to the delivery location immediately and without notice to you if:
    1. Breach any of the terms and conditions stipulated under the customer contract.
    2. Where you have failed to make payment to us in full accordance with the terms of sale as stated in the customer contract, we shall be entitled to exercise any legal rights available to us to recover any sums due to us. This includes but is not limited to repossession of any goods in which we retain legal and beneficial title.
